Mark Armstrong’s Weekly Update and News Review – 9 June 2017

Greetings from Tyler,

The snap election in England called by Theresa May has resulted in a weak victory,   insufficient to form a governing majority in Parliament.  Media reports are treating it as a block-buster defeat for conservatism and linking disappointing performance to her apparent cooperation with President Donald Trump.  It is interesting to note that she held the position of Home Secretary which dealt with immigration, illegal immigrants and the responsibility to manage the processing of the massive influx of “refugees” prior to the so called “Brexit” referendum which saw David Cameron resign and Theresa May ascend to the position of Prime Minister.  She’s also come under criticism for having significantly reduced the number of policemen in her former position.

While she may be held at least partially responsible for the un-assimilated masses of Muslim refugees amid the recent attacks in London and Manchester, she had on many occasions come under withering attack from other government officials for trying to limit the influx of refugees, for being heartless in her attempts to deport foreigners preaching jihad, and for creating a “hostile atmosphere” when she approved an advertising campaign telling illegal immigrants to go home or face arrest.

As you’ve heard by now, her lackluster electoral win will require her “Conservative” party to partner with one of the smaller parties in order to form a majority in Parliament.  She received approval from Queen Elisabeth to pursue that course.  All this comes prior to the negotiation of terms that will govern Britain’s separation from the European Union, which may give her diminished leverage in what will be a very contentious divorce.

Here at home, the fired former F. B. I. Director Comey just concluded testimony that was chocked full of bombshells.  Most of them were about how he “felt” or what he perceived to be  going on, “although I could be wrong.”  It boils down to the fact that he admittedly leaked a memo he’d created to the New York Times to correct false impressions made by the President and the Department of Justice that he felt had defamed him.  This thing played like an episode of As the World Turns.

There could hardly have been more melodrama.  He plainly said that he “leaked” his memo through a friend at Columbia Law School” in the hopes that it would bring about the appointment of a Special Council, which it did.

Whether the president’s actions or words represent any impropriety is the subject of a debate that will probably drag on for months.  But the mainstream media reports that Comey’s testimony might have been the “kill shot” they’ve been waiting for ever since Donald Trump won the election.  They hate him personally, and despise his plans to return the United States to lawful capitalism.  They were banking on another liberal presidency that would reinforce the “open border,” “bring the Muslim refugees in by the millions,” gay and trans-gender policies of the previous administration.  The hatred spewed nightly by the earnest queers on CNN and MSNBC is obvious.  If you had a nickel for every time they mouthed the words “criminal investigation into Russia collusion” you’d be rich.

But Comey admitted under oath that he had in fact told President Trump that he was not being investigated, contradicting every major newspaper and network reporter who’d claimed for months that he was.  The spectacle was the equivalent of an impeachment trial, except the only evidence was Comey’s perceptions, suspicions, and his “knowledge” that the president is a liar, which he plainly said two or three times.

Would that our nation had the luxury of time to deal with the over-wrought emotional state of Director Comey.  North Korea just demonstrated its ability to launch a full blown ICBM, capable of reaching the United States.  The terrorists are more demented and determined to wage death and destruction on Western society than ever.  The Middle East is a boiling cauldron of war and terror that begs for American leadership that has been absent for many years.

Chances are pretty much 100 percent that the mainstream media will continue to hyperventilate over every perceived possibility of impeaching President Trump.  Whoever could bring that about would be celebrated for all time, much as Woodward and Bernstein are for having brought down President Nixon.  It’s riveting entertainment, but very likely the most colossal waste of useless speculation the country has ever endured.

More than ever it behoves everyone to acquaint themselves with Biblical prophecy written for our day. The prophet Daniel was told, “4But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.” Daniel 12:4

The time of the end is our time. Not just “many” but vast numbers now spend their entire existence running “to and fro”, however that is interpreted – airline travel, motor transport or just rushing about. And knowledge has been increasing exponentially now for most of the past 200 years and now even more so. Marry those facts to the hard edged prophecies relating to latter day Israel (who are they – all Jews are Israelites but not all Israelites are Jews – there were 13 Tribes in all and ten tribes formed the northern “House of Israel” after Solomon).

The Garner Ted Armstrong authored book, “Europe and America in Prophecy” lays out in plain language the history of Abraham’s family, through Isaac, Jacob (whose name was changed to Israel) and his offspring of 12 sons, including Joseph who had two sons, Ephraim and Manasseh, who brought the number of tribes to 13, and who received a special blessing from Jacob (Israel) who named his name on them. That name was Israel.

Request a FREE copy of “Europe and and America in Prophecy“. Your future is bound up in the blessings and prophecies expounded from the Bible around these two tribes, “Ephraim” and “Manasseh” who together received the lions share of God’s blessing promised to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

Why does President Trump back the second Amendment letting Radical Muslim terrorists in the USA all the guns they want?As well as the Crips , the Bloods, The Panthers, the Klan and any other Criminals?Would not America be safer if there were less armed potential criminals?

    Replying to L.Mack,
The second amendment applies to law abiding citizens. The radical terrorist, groups, you mentioned aren’t law abiding citizens and as law abiding citizens , the second amendment allows us by the constitution and affords us the right to keep and bear those arms ( firearms) to defend ourselves against the very people you mentioned. Any grown adult that doesn’t understand this is either one of the dumbest people on earth or knows better and has alternative motives.
