When most think of Christ do they picture in their mind a babe in a manger or a languid, insipid, long haired and bearded, aquiline featured man of Renaissance art or (as the Bible accurately depicts Him) a conquering warrior seated upon a white horse, Faithful and True, judging and making war, eyes as a flame of fire, wearing many crowns, a name that no man knew except himself, a vesture dipped in blood and called “The Word of God”, followed by the armies of heaven, with a sharp sword going out of His mouth by which He smites the nations and that He will rule the nations with a rod of iron, treading the wine press of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God, and having written on His vesture the name “King of kings and Lord of lords”. (see Rev. 19:11-16)
Most who even believe Christ lives and is going to return to this earth don’t often think of Him that way. In this sermon Garner Ted Armstrong talks about the return of Jesus Christ and what His followers ought to be doing daily.
