Dear Friends and Coworkers,
You can’t believe the media anymore. They’re claiming that a plurality of the country disapproves of Trump and his handling of everything. You won’t believe the groups that make up these failing protests. I hate to tell you, but the media is failing.
The “No Kings” protests didn’t do any good, the networks are in trouble, former enemies are undergoing scrutiny if not already indicted, and Trump is flying happily above the fray. There is no longer any doubt about it, the media is out to get him. If you read only the headlines, you might be tempted to believe that Trump is just about to receive his comeuppance. But I think it’s wishful thinking. When has the media ever been wrong? About everything.
Trump is trying to do the right thing, but the media (with the possible exception of Fox News, on occasion) is just sure they’re about to get him. One false move, and that would be it. Meanwhile things are not going so well for the media. Number one on the list is that we don’t believe them anymore. They’ve pushed too many scams, and we hardly know who to believe. Trump has his advisors and is immune to the nonsense we have to listen to.
Thanks goodness for the internet. You can read any source that you want, and the big three networks no longer have a stranglehold on what we believe. The mainstream media is the last place we’d look for the truth. They scammed us (I think) on Covid. They caused untold misery by foisting mandates upon us. We’re Americans, and we don’t appreciate authoritarian mandates.
As you look around the world, it looks like the USA is in the strongest position we’ve been in forever. If we don’t back ourselves into a position that starts WWIII, anyway. The Trump administration likes to brag about the wars they’ve stopped in Africa, but we know the big one is in Eastern Europe. The Ukraine seems to be the thorniest, especially when you’re dealing with the likes of Putin and Zelensky. Both have built their reputations on intransigence. But despite the ongoing bloodshed, both are standing their ground. More meetings are planned.
Trump’s solution is to make everybody rich. Of course, these leaders are already rich at the expense of their countrymen. But he knows what he’s doing.
The Middle East? Trump knows how to negotiate in everybody’s best interest, and who but a businessman could lead everybody to the table? It’s gratifying to know that we’ve got someone who achieved profit all over the world to lead these guys to water. But there’s always the inevitable threat of world war, and let’s hope they don’t push that button.
Even the Arabs don’t want to make him mad. No telling what he’d do, and from our perspective, that’s a good thing. We tend to be a little skittish. That’s why he’s President and we’re not.
He wants to stop wars wherever he can by appealing to the self-interests of the parties involved. He wants to stop the killing and for everybody to get rich. That doesn’t always work. Some of these guys are already rich beyond our wildest imaginations.
We don’t even know how far back into history to go to find someone like Trump. The last successful president was Ronald Reagan. He tried, but in his last years was overcome by Nancy and the media, who loved to speculate about his mental condition. He was the last president who was on our side.
The border was an absolute disaster. Now it’s under control, at least around here. We think we’ve imported a lot of people who will do the jobs we won’t, but not too many. The Democrats apparently thought they could load the country up with people who need help, but Trump is foiling their plans.
The media uses everything they can think of to try to turn us against him. Whoopi spouted her mouth off about the White House renovation to make way for a ballroom. They’re upset now, but they’ll be falling all over each other when it’s done.
In Gaza the rabble-rousers seem to be out of control, at least that’s the Arabs’ defense. If they can’t control themselves, well that means Israel gets a green light to do what needs to be done. What will become of leadership in Gaza remains to be seen. The remaining hostages apparently have been released, twelve of them dead. I think it’s because they’re afraid of Trump, but they’d never admit to that.
Former French president Sarkozy has been remanded to prison. Something about Libya and ill-gotten funds. He was apparently applauded on his way to prison. I wonder who set that up.
This is the best time to be an American. Not since the days of Reagan have we seen such patriotism. The media is trying to play down Trump’s support. They’re looking for anything to bring him down, but he seems to have it under control. The headlines say he’s loosing support, but I think he’s appealing to a higher power.
The bad guys are getting their day in court. I can’t imagine they’re sleeping too well. Comey has already been indicted and there are a host of familiar names that are next.
It seems that God is blessing us once again, but it may be our last chance. We should be thankful and praise His holy name.
Sincerely,
Mark Armstrong
