Dear Members and Coworkers,
“From 1776 to today, every generation of Americans has stepped forward to defend life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. And they were doing it for the next generation. But now it’s our turn.” President Donald Trump just gave the annual State of the Union Address and he had plenty to talk about. He doesn’t hesitate to show his great love for this country –– and his disdain for those who would abuse it.
News of Epstein is everywhere. Apparently, incriminating videos are all over the place, stored in lockers around the country. High profile executives are either resigning or apologizing. The former Prince Andrew has been arrested over his connections as was the British ambassador to the US, Mandelson. The scandal continues to reverberate around the world.
Mexico has long been involved in some pretty shady business, and it’s playing out publicly. They have been under pressure from the US to crack down on the cartels. In addition to the drugs, we may end up having to know about minors trafficked into America, together with all the terrible details, and lots of other things that are disturbing to even consider. With the help of US military intelligence, a raid was conducted against the leader of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel, “El Mencho.” He died from gunshot wounds sustained in the battle to apprehend him. In retribution, the cartel has offered a bounty on security personnel, destroyed businesses, torched cars and blocked major highways. Over 70 people have died, a third of which were military or police. Troops have been mobilized to restore order. Some have accused Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum of being under the influence of the cartels, including Elon Musk whom she has publicly threatened to sue.
We’ve got warships converging on Iran. Iran is not toothless, despite our hopes to the contrary. They’re buying up missiles that can purportedly reach the United States. We’ve heard it before, but this time … Trump is threatening to bomb them into oblivion, and it might not be a bad idea. How dare the bearded Ayatollah threaten the United States? The threats alone could be cause for action against Iran. We thought we’d knocked out all their nuclear capabilities and I hope we did. People are clogging the streets in Tehran purportedly in their love for the Ayatollah. Who knows what would happen to them if they stayed home.
They’re still overt about Covid. They’re trying to convice us that not taking the shot was the next thing to mass murder. Here at the office we don’t follow government directives, no matter how mad that makes them. They’re trying to paint it that we don’t care about our fellow human beings or we would have done as we were told. Maybe the media is getting the fallout they deserve. But they’re not letting up. They think they’re going to win. I don’t think so.
Have you heard about the mass murders enacted by “trans” shooters? First, the 18 year old who opened fire on family and school children in a small town in British Columbia. Less than a week later, trans-woman “Roberta” shot an ex-wife and children at a Rhode Island hockey rink. They’ve gone mad! They think they can bully us into believing that this is ok? They’ve tried to push so much nonsense our way that I don’t trust them anymore. Just because they say it on the news is not convincing anymore. There are some things you just can’t change, no matter the jargon about fairness.
Ilhan Omar? I think she may be greasing the skids to return to Somalia. They’ve uncovered mass corruption and she doesn’t seem to get it. She walks around like she didn’t do anything. We’ll find out. I never understood why they wanted to plant their flag way up north. Maybe they thought we wouldn’t notice. But notice has been taken, and they’ve pulled every fraud known to man. But Omar’s fabulously rich in recent years, despite having been in debt. “Why is he interested in little ole her?” He’s interested in all of the people who have come here fraudulently, and it turns out he wants to get them out! Omar included. She says she’s not going anywhere. Famous last words.
This will be the last letter before the spring Holy Days, beginning with the Lord’s Supper, observed at sundown on March 31 followed by the Feast of Unleavened Bread beginning April 2 and continuing through April 8. The following excerpt from my Dad’s book, How Seasonal Holy Days Reveal God’s Plan helps explain their meaning and relevance today.
Sincerely,

Mark Armstrong

God’s seven annual feasts, or holy days, picture the entire PURPOSE for human life! They picture, in moving, beautiful, rich types and shadows, the plan of salvation; the progressive fulfillment of all prophecy; how the saints of this time are but the “first fruits” of the great latter-day time of judgment; the second coming of Christ; the banishment of Satan; the millennial reign of Jesus Christ, and the great general resurrection of the “rest of the dead” (Revelation 20:5) to take place AFTER the millennium.
When God called His nation out of slavery under Moses, it was for the express purpose of “sacrificing the ‘Passover’” (Exodus 3:18; 5:1-3; Exodus 12). The perfect, helpless little sacrificial lamb is a type of Jesus Christ (Isaiah 53:7). The shed blood of the lamb on the lintels and door posts of the Israelites’ houses is a symbol of Christ’s shed blood atoning for our sins, causing the penalty of death (Romans 6:23) to pass over those who call upon Christ for forgiveness.
The Israelites were commanded to eat the Passover with “unleavened bread,” called the “bread of haste,” bread which was flat, plain—not light and fluffy, puffed up. Immediately following the Passover were the Days of Unleavened Bread.
God commanded them, “In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is the Lord’s Passover.
“And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto the Eternal: seven days ye must eat unleavened bread” (Leviticus 23:5, 6).
Leaven, as an agent which spreads throughout moist dough, and which causes bread or cakes to rise when baked, lending a light, airy texture, was pointed out as a type of sin. Jesus said, “Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees” (Matthew 16:5-12).
Unleavened bread, on the other hand, pictured sinlessness; humility, an absence of vanity, pride, and sin. Christ said, “I am that bread of life. Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead.
“This [pointing to Himself] is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.
“I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world” (John 6:48-51).”
