With the new presidency, only a week old, the mainstream media is just beside itself with shock, anger and outrage. First, President Trump desecrated “hallowed ground” at Langley headquarters of the CIA immediately by disputing the media’s estimates of “crowd size” at the inauguration! The nightly “semi-circle of doom” (coined by Laura Ingraham) says the president just couldn’t resist his lying boast, even as he stood before the “Wall of Fallen Heroes” at the CIA.
Not only that but, not content to have won the election by carrying the Electoral College, he keeps claiming that at least a few million illegal or undocumented votes were cast for Hillary Clinton nationwide. “Where’s the proof?” they want to know. “It’s a LIE,” they tell us from every single media outlet.
We knew this was going to be a wild ride, and that’s just how it’s started. One of the most fearful suspicions of all was expressed on CNN last night. It comes in response to orders apparently passed down through the EPA and the National Parks Service warning employees not to be using social media to thwart the efforts of the new administration, for example, by characterizing new policies as destroying the planet or some such. This is terribly dangerous, according to the lead criers. “If Donald Trump should begin to lean on agencies to release only information favorable to his agenda, then we’re in big trouble!”
Upon hearing that, the government sponsored, UN funded panic over global warming and climate change leaped to mind. The East Anglia scandal was one example among others, where “science” was fudged to rewrite historical temperature data and broadcast the “results” around the world to be reported as “news” and to “prove” that global warming is going to disrupt all life on earth unless vast sums of wealth are redistributed and government agencies take control of nearly every personal decision. Neither the U. S. government nor the UN nor any western government for that matter has funded any study that disputed the dogma of “global warming” over a period of many years. That never rose to the level of “big trouble” in the eyes of the media. It was downplayed at best, and for the most part ignored. Most people never heard of the East Anglia scandal, and still haven’t.
It’s been a busy week, with the outrages coming so fast that critics are about to faint amid the sheer speed with which the Obama legacy is being dismantled. But the initial executive orders against the Obama-care mandates really don’t amount to much, they say. To hear the mainstream news tell it, it’s a successful government program benefiting millions, and President Trump has a vested interest in seeing it fail. Besides, no one knows what “replacement” will look like, so the jury is still out.
The discussion of Mexico paying for a southern border wall has already created something of an international incident, with Mexico’s president canceling his scheduled visit. We’re told that a trade war is in the offing, and that Americans will simply pay for any imposition tariffs applied to goods produced in Mexico. But the policy of deporting illegal alien criminals? That’s where the long knives come out. Mayors of sanctuary cities like New York, Chicago, Seattle and dozens if not hundreds of others are warning of protests and law suits the likes of which we’ve rarely seen if any attempt is made to deport. We hear how law abiding immigrants will have their families ripped apart if Trump’s policies should be enacted. Neither the mayors, nor the Governor of California will stand by and let it happen. No doubt there will be lawsuits that will be appealed all the way to the Supreme Court as the illegal immigrant battle takes shape. Prepare to be thrashed with emotional arguments for the foreseeable future.
Every year a team of Nobel laureates resets the “Doomsday Clock.” You might guess, it has been advanced by thirty seconds, and we now stand just two and a half symbolic minutes to the end of the world. And it’s all the fault of one man. Yes, Donald Trump’s reckless rhetoric on the subjects of nuclear weapons and his troubling stance on climate change have pushed the world ever closer to impending doom.
Luckily, we don’t have much regard for the bought and sold scientists who churn out studies to amaze and frighten we mere mortals. Alas, the Himalayan glaciers should have melted long since. New York and Los Angeles would be swimming with the fishes by now if they knew what they were stammering about.
It seems that God Almighty has reserved at least a few things under His own Power. We dare to think that earth’s climate is one of them. Another would be the end of the age. We certainly don’t purport to know when that will be. But we do have more than a few clues, laid out in Bible prophecy, and we’re not there yet. Besides, who on earth knows what the two and a half minutes actually means, or why it was three symbolic minutes to doomsday just two days ago?
Thanks anyway, but we’ll continue to watch the things the Bible tells us to watch for. That is an economic and political alliance of ten nations we believe will emerge in Europe, and ally itself with a respected religious leader to wield economic power over the entire world. Events now under way may lead in that direction, as the U. S. and UK look to forge a mutually beneficial relationship as Britain pulls out of the European Union. During a joint press conference with British Prime Minister Theresa May, President Trump invoked some words that mimicked one of God’s promises to Abraham when he said, “A strong UK is a blessing to the entire world.” Imagine that. Yes, it has been, and hopefully will be.
Big changes may be in the offing for Europe, and we’ll be watching as important elections play out later this year. In the meantime, the globalist climate change gurus can do whatever they see fit with their “Doomsday Clock.” Ours tells us, it’s the Sabbath, the day God set apart and hallowed.

PS. The United States and the United Kingdom, including the anglo countries of Australia, Canada and New Zealand, have indeed been a blessing upon the whole world. Other western European countries have also been a blessing, but not to the same extent. Why have (and still are) the peoples of the British Isles and the Anglo/ European peoples of the United States of America such an enormous blessing to the whole world. The hint may be in this Bible passage where God speaks to Abraham.
Genesis 12:2-3 ” 2And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: 3And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.”
And later on God also promised Isaac national greatness and then Jacob (whose name was changed to Israel). Isaac passed God’s blessing to Jacob – “8Therefore God give thee of the dew of heaven, and the fatness of the earth, and plenty of corn and wine: 29Let people serve thee, and nations bow down to thee: be lord over thy brethren, and let thy mother’s sons bow down to thee: cursed be every one that curseth thee, and blessed be he that blesseth thee.” Genesis27: 28-29.
Later still Jacob passed those blessings on to Joseph’s sons, Ephraim and Manasseh.
“8And Israel beheld Joseph’s sons, and said, Who are these? 9And Joseph said unto his father, They are my sons, whom God hath given me in this place. And he said, Bring them, I pray thee, unto me, and I will bless them. 10Now the eyes of Israel were dim for age, so that he could not see. And he brought them near unto him; and he kissed them, and embraced them. 11And Israel said unto Joseph, I had not thought to see thy face: and, lo, God hath showed me also thy seed. 12And Joseph brought them out from between his knees, and he bowed himself with his face to the earth. 13And Joseph took them both, Ephraim in his right hand toward Israel’s left hand, and Manasseh in his left hand toward Israel’s right hand, and brought them near unto him. 14And Israel stretched out his right hand, and laid it upon Ephraim’s head, who was the younger, and his left hand upon Manasseh’s head, guiding his hands wittingly; for Manasseh was the firstborn. 15And he blessed Joseph, and said, God, before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac did walk, the God which fed me all my life long unto this day, 16The Angel which redeemed me from all evil, bless the lads; and let my name be named on them, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac; and let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth. 17And when Joseph saw that his father laid his right hand upon the head of Ephraim, it displeased him: and he held up his father’s hand, to remove it from Ephraim’s head unto Manasseh’s head. 18And Joseph said unto his father, Not so, my father: for this is the firstborn; put thy right hand upon his head. 19And his father refused, and said, I know it, my son, I know it: he also shall become a people, and he also shall be great: but truly his younger brother shall be greater than he, and his seed shall become a multitude of nations. 20And he blessed them that day, saying, In thee shall Israel bless, saying, God make thee as Ephraim and as Manasseh: and he set Ephraim before Manasseh.”Genesis 48:8-20.
Who are the peoples of modern day Ephraim and Manasseh – Joseph’s sons whom Jacob (Israel) made his own sons and named his name (Israel) on them? Who is a modern day great company of nations and the singular greatest nation the world has ever seen?
