How hard is it to be “saved”? As Garner Ted tells it there are many “Christian” churches that would have it believed that salvation is easier than getting a driver’s license, a marriage license, joining the military and indeed easier than almost any ordinary human endeavour. Is that right? Or is there a great deal to face up to personally upfront and then a lifetime of daily overcoming? Did Christ say broad is the way to life and narrow the way to destruction? Or was it the other way around?
The fact is that almost none of the nominal Christian churches of this world truly understand what salvation is. They think it is once “saved” always “saved”. They think salvation is going to heaven when you die rather than the other place. They are dead wrong. This sermon explains why they are wrong.
