Sermon – “Is Noah’s Flood a Myth?” – Garner Ted Armstrong Sermon

Is the flood, reputed to have destroyed the world that then was in Noah’s day, leaving only Noah, his wife, their three sons and their wives alive, a myth? Jesus Christ did not think so. Christ specifically related that at the end time, just before His return at the end of the age that conditions would be just as in Noah’s day.

Matt. 24:35-39
“35Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. 36But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. 37But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 38For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, 39And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”

What other so called Biblical myths are there that Jesus Christ plainly believed along with the His twelve disciples and the Apostle Paul? Many Christians today defer to so called science. The 1st Century disciples of Christ deferred to the Bible. Mr. Armstrong expounds why, and why deferring to and believing the Word of God is the way of true Christianity, while taking cognisance of provable science – not theories of men.
