Sermon – “A Footwashing Attitude” – Garner Ted Armstrong Sermon, March 24, 2001

What attitude should we have as we approach Passover (the Lord’s Supper) each year and the annual ceremony prior to taking the bread and the wine, the foot washing. We know, in a broad sense, that we are to examine ourselves as the season of Passover/Unleavened Bread approaches so that we may partake of the Lord’s Supper in a worthy manner. If help is needed in defining the terms and engaging in the process then this sermon is a “must see”. Viewing this sermon prior to participating in the symbols of the Lord’s Supper, including the Foot Washing Ceremony, is easily one of the best means to effect an annual spiritual check up.
