Sermon – “Iron and Clay” – by Garner Ted Armstrong from Garner Ted Armstrong EA on Vimeo.

King Nebuchadnezzar, King of Babylon had a dream and in the dream he saw a great image that no man could interpret. He called for Daniel, who had understanding in all visions and dreams (because God showed him the meaning of the visions and dreams).

Daniel told Nebuchadnezzar that the image he had seen was the form of a man whose head was of gold, his breast and arms of silver, his belly and thighs of brass, his legs of iron and his feet part iron and part clay. Daniel explained that the king was the head of gold and after him would arise another three kingdoms, each inferior to the last.

Finally, when the succeeding kingdoms have worked their way down to the feet and toes of iron and clay Daniel explained that God would set up a Kingdom that would never be destroyed and would consume all these past kingdoms.( Daniel, Chapter 2)

Question. Can you trace these succeeding kingdoms through history? Has the kingdom represented by the feet of iron and clay yet been established? If not, when? And are we in the time when God’s Kingdom will literally break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms?

Garner Ted Armstrong looks at the prospects.
