Sermon – “Impeachment” – Garner Ted Armstrong Sermon, December 19, 1998

The impetus for this sermon was the impeachment in December 1998 of the then President of the United States, Bill Clinton.

Garner Ted Armstrong surveys the recent history of American Presidents from John Kennedy (assassinated) and Richard Nixon (resigned) to the Clinton period. Of course, since the time of this sermon a further two presidents have occupied the Oval Office. There is much in this sermon that could be extrapolated to take in the current Presidency. The trajectory of society, not just in the USA, has generally been on a downward trend.
