Sermon – “All in the Name of God” – Garner Ted Armstrong Sermon, November 17, 2001

So many acts of war, of terror and of outright evil have been committed in the name of God. Which God depends on who is doing the evil. In late 2001 it was the Osama bin Laden gang of al-Qaida that had just perpetrated one of the most, if not the most, audacious and evil acts the world had seen in terms of terrorism.

Bin-Laden is now dead but al-Qaida is thriving across dozens of countries in the Middle East, North Africa and elsewhere. Perhaps unsurprisingly, Mr. Armstrong speculates that at that time (November 2001) bin-Laden was in Pakistan. Indeed, as it turns out, he probably was. He certainly was in Pakistan, and had been for years, at the time of his timely death.
